How We Support You
Grounded guidance.
Thoughtful care.
The support you need to move forward.
Separation and divorce can bring emotional chaos, overwhelming decisions, and the kind of exhaustion that sleep can’t cure. Most women navigating this time are expected to keep functioning - parenting, working, surviving - while holding deep fear and uncertainty beneath the surface.
At Family Flow: The Divorce Collective, we offer clear, compassionate support that meets you right where you’re at - whether you’re overwhelmed by legal forms, frozen in emotional shutdown, or slowly starting to rebuild.

Support that brings relief, clarity, and strength
We work with women facing emotional distress, legal complexity, financial fear, and identity loss. Whether you’re navigating high-conflict dynamics, co-parenting difficulties, or the aftershocks of trauma, we support you with tools that are both emotionally intelligent and practically effective.
You’ll be met with respect, expertise, and the calm confidence that comes from women who truly understand what you’re going through.
Our Approach
Everything we do is grounded in trauma-informed care. That means we recognise how stress, betrayal, abuse, or loss affect your nervous system, your confidence, and your capacity to make decisions and take action.
Our support brings together:
Emotional safety - You’re met with care, not pressure
Pragmatic strategy - We’ll help you plan, prepare, and respond
Somatic awareness - We work with your nervous system
Values alignment - Your decisions will be rooted in what matters to you
Practical tools & resources - So you can make informed, steady choices in real time
This is support that helps you feel stronger, not just manage the mess.

Liz Harrington
Co‑Founder, Trauma Therapist & Coach | Specialist in Separation, Divorce & Financial Trauma
Academic & Professional Credentials:
Liz combines a background in somatic therapy with over a decade of trauma-sensitive coaching. She’s trained in emotional regulation techniques like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) AKA Tapping and other somatic therapies, and is recognised for her expertise in healing from emotionally and financially abusive relationships.
Personal Journey & Lived Expertise:
Liz has lived through and supported women through emotionally abusive or narcissistic separations. Her journey includes financial recovery, co-parenting challenges, and the deep transformation that comes after betrayal. This lived expertise fuels her belief that healing is possible - with structure, support, and self-compassion.
What Liz Brings:
Somatic tools to soothe the body while untangling complex emotions
Guidance in understanding coercive control, emotional abuse, and financial manipulation
Structured support for rebuilding boundaries, self-trust, and emotional safety in daily life
Liz’s strength lies in creating a bridge between trauma recovery and practical rebuilding - helping you reconnect with your sense of self, regain control over your emotions, and rebuild a life aligned with your true values. She also speaks publicly and is currently writing a book challenging the systemic issues within the divorce landscape and advocating for reform.
Both Susie and Liz have walked these paths - not as observers, but as changed women who’ve rebuilt their lives with intention. They use trauma-informed frameworks to meet you exactly where you are, not where you “should” be.
It’s all about guiding your next step. Calming your overwhelm. Illuminating practical solutions. And helping you feel capable, grounded, and deeply supported.
Your story matters, and with Susie and Liz, you’ll experience coaching that is skilled, heart-led, and utterly committed to your journey.

“The biggest difference is knowing there is a safe space to share, be heard, and gain practical tools to cope. The guidance, encouragement, and understanding from people who truly 'get it' helps me feel less isolated and more in control.”

We understand how heavy this season can feel - the sleepless nights, the constant mental load, the moments you question whether you can keep going. We’ve been there ourselves, and we know how much lighter it becomes when you have the right support beside you.
At Family Flow, our approach is grounded in walking alongside you - not pushing, not rushing - just offering steady, skilled, and compassionate guidance at your pace. We listen without judgement, help you untangle what’s ahead, and help you create space to breathe again.
Sometimes that means talking through a hard decision. Sometimes it’s finding the words for a difficult conversation. Sometimes it’s simply holding the weight with you for a while.
You don’t have to have all the answers right now. You just need a place to start - and we’ll be right here when you do.
We offer a free discovery call to anyone wishing to talk through their circumstances, and chat about how we can help. There’s no obligation or pressure to work with us, so book a call and let’s get you the right support.
